The Universes allow you to organize teams into large thematic or business groupings. They form a structuring layer above teams, making it easier to understand and manage the organization on the platform.
The main view displays all universes as a table with three columns:
Name β the name of the universe, displayed as a colored badge
Description β a short description (optional)
Teams β the number of teams attached to the universe
Two views are available in the top right:
Active β the universes in service
Trash β the archived universes
A search bar allows you to quickly find a universe by its name.
The + Create a universe button in the top right opens a creation window with two fields:
Universe name (required) | The name that will identify the universe across the platform |
Description | Free field to specify the purpose of the universe |
By clicking on a universe in the list, you access its complete sheet, organized in three tabs:
This tab groups together the basic information of the universe as well as the list of teams attached to it.
Information
Universe name (required)
Description β optional free text field
Associated teams
A table lists all teams belonging to the universe, with for each one:
Its name
The colleague members (displayed as name badges)
A red badge 0 if no colleague is yet associated with the team
It is possible to add a team directly from this tab via the link + Add a team.
π‘ A universe can group a large number of teams. For example, the universe Workshop could contain 10 teams covering different departments (APV Bodywork, APV Mechanics, APV Quick, Receptionist, etc.).
Deletion
A Delete universe button (in red) is available at the bottom of the page.
As with transfer numbers, this tab allows you to define the time slots during which the universe is active, with the same logic of default slots and custom schedules for exceptional periods.
Tracks all modifications made to the universe: what was changed, by whom, and when.
